Oil service reset Land Rover LR2

2006-2010

Press and hold the trip reset button with the vehicle stationary and in a power mode less than 6 (two positions before starting engine).
While holding the trip reset button, enter the vehicle into power mode 6 (one position before starting engine).
Release the trip reset button within 10 seconds of entering power mode If the manual reset mode has been successfully entered ‘dISt’ or ‘DATE’ will be displayed in the odometer, depending on which trigger has been activated.
To clear the ‘dISt’ trigger press, and hold the trip reset button for more than 5 seconds within 10 seconds of entering the manual re-set mode. If successful, ‘RESET’ will be displayed in the odometer for 5 seconds. If the date trigger has not been activated ‘END’ will then be displayed in the odometer.
If the date trigger has been activated, ‘DATE’ will be displayed in the odometer. To clear the trigger press and hold the trip reset button for more than 5 seconds within 10 seconds of ‘DATE’ being displayed. If successful, ‘RESET’ will be displayed within the odometer for 5 seconds followed by ‘END’ The odometer will now exit re-set mode.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service oil reset Toyota Highlander

2005-2008
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Ensure odometer reading is shown. Turn ignition off.
While holding down the trip meter reset knob turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Hold down knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates “000000” and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2009-2010
Vehicles without smart key system:
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown. Turn the ignition off.
Vehicles with smart key system:
Press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch once (do not start engine).
Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown. Turn the ignition off.
While pressing the Trip Meter reset button, press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch once (do not start engine).
Without multi-information display: Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays ě000000î.
With multi-information display: Continue to press and hold the button until “COMPLETE” appears on the multi-information display.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
Hybrid
Press the “POWER” switch once (do not start engine).
Turn off the hybrid system with the trip meter A reading shown.
Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown. Turn the ignition off.
While holding down the trip meter reset knob the ěPOWERî switch must be set in ON mode (do not start engine). A message ěCOMPLETE” will appear on the multi information display.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2010
Press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch once (do not start engine).
Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown. Turn the ignition off.
While pressing the Trip Meter reset button, press the “ENGINE START STOP” switch once (do not start engine).
Without multi-information display
4. Continue to press and hold the knob until the trip meter displays “000000”.
With multi-information display
4. Continue to press and hold the knob until ěCOMPLETEî appears on the multi-information display.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
Hybrid
Press the “POWER” switch once (do not start engine).
Turn off the hybrid system with the trip meter A reading shown.
Ensure Trip Metre A reading is shown. Turn the ignition off.
While holding down the trip meter reset knob the ěPOWERî switch must be set in ON mode (do not start engine). A message ěOIL MILEAGE RESET MODE” will appear on the display.
Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. A message ěCOMPLETEî will appear and the message ěOIL MILEAGE RESET MODE” goes off.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service reset VW Crafter 2.5 td

VW Crafter service reset Sitting in the drivers seat looking at the dash on the left hand side you have a M button and below it a 0 button these are the buttons you will need to use.

When i refer to the LCD this is the illuminated part in the middle that shows your mileage,service mileage and trip mileage.

Please read this fully first to get the jist of it as if you perform the actions too slow it wont work and you will have to start over.

1.Put on ignition

2.Wait for service mileage to revert to vehicle mileage

3.When it reverts to the vehicle mileage press and hold the 0 button until you hear a beep (can take up to 30 seconds)

4.As soon as you hear the beep press the M button repeatdly and you will see in the LCD display different reset’s the one you need to select is “reset 51” if you go past it just keep pressing the M button till it comes up again.

5.When the “reset 51” is displayed stop pressing the M button then press and hold the 0 button again until a number 2 is displayed in the LCD.

6.Release the 0 button and then press twice and it will say in the LCD reset done ,if it is not reset you will get a 30% power reduction after 2K miles
