1. Press in the trip reset milometer button on the cars dash facia and hold it in, do not release.
2. With your other hand insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the power on position, do not fire-up the ignition/engine.
3. Keep the trip reset button depressed whilst the power is on. Dash may countdown from 10 to zero and then reset.

1. Set the power mode to ON (do not start the engine).
2. Use the scroll wheel marked (i) on the right side of the steering wheel and select MAINTENANCE INFO.
3. Select MAINTENANCE RESET.
5. Select RESET. The displayed maintenance items disappear, and the engine oil life display returns to 100%.
6. Turn the power mode off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1. Turn the ignition to the on position (do not start the engine).
2. Press both the accelerator and brake pedals at the same time.
3. Keep both pedals fully pressed.
4. After three seconds, the Service: Oil reset in prog. message will be displayed.
5. After 25 seconds, the Service: Oil reset complete message will be displayed.
6. Release both the accelerator and brake pedals.
7. The Service: Oil reset complete message will no longer be displayed.
8. Rotate the key to the off position. For vehicles with push-button start, press the start button to turn the vehicle off completely.

Models with information display:
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (do not start the engine).
2. Display the engine oil life by repeatedly pressing the (Select/Reset) knob.
3. Press and hold the knob for 10 seconds or more. The engine oil life indicator and the maintenance item codes blink.
4. Press the knob for five seconds or more. The displayed maintenance items disappear, and the engine oil life display returns to 100%.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
Models with multi-information display:
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (do not start the engine).
2. Select VEHICLE SETTINGS using the up or down arrows, then press the SEL/RESET button.
3. Select MAINTENANCE RESET using the up or down arrows, then press the SEL/RESET button.
4. Select RESET using the up or down arrows, then press the SEL/RESET button. The displayed maintenance items disappear, and the engine oil life display returns to 100%.
5. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
