2000
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. If the CHANGE OIL SOON indicator flashes 2 times, the system is reset.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2001-2005
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Repeatedly push the TRIP/RESET button until OIL is displayed on the DIC.
Push and hold the TRIP/RESET button for 5 seconds. The number will disappear and be replaced by
100 indicating 100 percent oil life remaining.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
