2009-2011

1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position (do not start the engine). Use the ENTER button (?) and toggle the vehicle information display to show the SETTING screen. Use the NEXT button (?) to select.
2. Use the NEXT button (?) to select MAINTENANCE
i) SETTING > MAINTENANCE > OIL > ENGINE OIL to set or reset the mileage for the engine oil change.
ii) SETTING > MAINTENANCE > FILTER > to set or reset the mileage for the engine oil filter.
3. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Oil service reset GL – Class

2007-2012

1. Turn the ignition to position 1. (close all doors
2. Press the system selection button (3 located on the lower left of the steering wheel) repeatedly until the kilometer or temperature reading is shown in the multi information display.)
3. Press the TRIP reset button (center button on instrument panel) quickly 3 times. An audible beep will be heard followed by the battery voltage displayed.
4. Press the scoll forward/back button (left side of steering wheel) to highlight the “”Service menu””.”
5. Use the +/- buttons to select “”Confirmation”” menu. Press the system select button to confirm. The menu item “”Complete service”” is highlighted.”
6. Press the system selection button to confirm. “”Service confirmed”” appears.”
7. Use the scroll forward/back button to exit the menu.
8. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2009-2011

1. Turn the ignition to position 1. Ensure mileage is displayed.
2. Press the left arrow repeatedly until the TRIP option is highlighted.
3. Press and hold (phone) button and within 1 second press OK and then hold both buttons for 5 seconds. The shop menu is displayed.
4. Press down repeatedly until “”ASSYST PLUS”” is highlighted and confirm with OK. ”
5. Use the down arrow to select “”FULL SERVICE”” and then confirm with OK. Use the down arrow to select YES and confirm with OK. “”CANNOT BE UNDONE”” displays. Use the down arrow to select CONFIRM and then confirm with OK. The display reads “”FULL SERVICE CARRIED OUT””. Confirm by pressing OK.”
6. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2008-2012

  1. Insert the remote control into the ignition key hole. Briefly press the “CAR“.
  2. Turn the knob util the message “Service Interval Display” appears in the display. Briefly press the button to select.
  3. Turn the knob util the message “Reset oil change interval” appeaars in the display. Briefly press the button to select.
  4. The message “Do you really want to reset the oil change interval?” Appears in the display. Turn the knob until “Yes” appears.
  5. Press to confirm. Done!

This reset is required to be made only after the engine maintenance performed by replacing oil and filters corresponding engine that comes with your vehicle. This operation must be performed by a qualified and experienced to not cause serious damage to the engine and the risk can not be used.
