2010

With Driver Information Centre (DIC):
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the MENU button until vehicle information menu is displayed then scroll through the menu with the down arrow until Remaining Oil Life is selected then press SET/CLR (check button) to select.
Use up or down arrow to select YES to reset.
Confirm reset by pressing SET/CLR button.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
Without Driver Information Centre (DIC):
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.
If the Change Engine Oil Soon message goes off the system is reset.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service oil reset Saab 9-3

1994-2002
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
This message can be deleted by first briefly pressing the CLR button, then depressing it a second time for at least 8 seconds until “SERVICE” appears on the display and a chime sounds.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
*The message can only be deleted when it is shown on the SID (Service Indicator Display).
2003-2006
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the CUSTOMIZE button.
Select System Settings using the INFO dial. Press the INFO dial.
Select Service Info. Press in the INFO dial.
Select Reset Service Ind. Press in the INFO dial.
When asked Are you sure? Select Yes. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2007-2009
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Select Settings using the steering wheel controls (up or down arrow).
Press and hold the SET button until given audible confirmation.
Select Time for Service.
Press the SET button.
To the question Reset Service Ind? Select YES. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
