2003
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the fuel information button (located on instrument panel cluster above steering column) until ENGINE OIL LIFE appears in the display.
Press and hold the select button (arrow button) for 5 seconds while ENGINE OIL LIFE is displayed. OIL LIFE RESET will appear on the display for 10 seconds to let you know the system is reset.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2004-2007
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after step 1 press and release the accelerator pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. If the OIL LIFE RESET message flashes for 10 seconds, the system is resetting.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2008-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Display the OIL LIFE REMAINING on the DIC by pressing the (i) button.
Press and hold the SET/RESET button (check mark button) on the DIC for more than 5 seconds. The oil life will change to 100%.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Reset the indicator by inserting the key in the slot below the indicator.

Turn ignition to (II) – do not start the engine.
Press and hold the RESET button on the bottom of the dash for more than 3 seconds until the reminder light turns off.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
1991-1993
Reset the coloured indicator by inserting the key in the slot below the indicator.
1994-1995
Turn ignition to (II) – do not start the engine.
Press and hold the RESET button located at the bottom of the dash for more than 3 seconds until the reminder light turns off.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
1996-2001
Turn ignition to (II) – do not start the engine.
Press the RESET button located below and to the right of the steering column (feel for a soft spot) until light goes out.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
