Service oil reset Nissan Murano

2006-2008
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Maintenance and tire pressure information will be displayed when the “MAINT” button is pushed on the centre console.
To display the setting of the maintenance interval, select the “Engine Oil” key using the joystick and push the “ENTER” button.
To reset the maintenance interval, select the “Reset” key using the joystick and push the “ENTER” button.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2009-2010
Turn the ignition to run (push START/STOP button once).
Switches for the trip computer are located on the right side of the combination meter panel. When the ignition switch is pushed to the ON position press the (square) button to bring up “Setting” and and press (circle) button to select.
Use the (circle) button to scroll to MAINTENANCE and use the (square) button to select.
Select ENGINE OIL to set or reset the distance for changing the oil.
Repeat step 2 to set or reset the distance for the OIL FILTER.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service oil reset Honda Prelude

1982-1989
Insert ignition key into slot below indicator flag at lower right corner of instrument cluster.
Push key in until indicator changes from red to green.
1990-1999
Insert ignition key into centre slot located on the front of the instrument cluster. When reset, the indicator changes to green.
2000-2002
Reset the coloured indicator by inserting your key in the slot beside the indicator.

2000-2001

2002-2006
Turn off the engine.
Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button in the instrument panel and turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting).
Hold the button for at least 10 seconds, until the indicator resets.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2007-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the SELECT/RESET knob repeatedly until the engine oil life is displayed.
Press the SELECT/RESET knob for about 10 seconds. The information display shows the reset mode initial display.
Select the ëëOIL LIFEíí indicator by turning the SELECT/RESET knob. The display begins to blink. Push the same knob to enter this setting.
The engine oil life and the maintenance item code(s) will begin to blink. Press the SELECT/ reset knob for another 5 seconds.
The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100. Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Service oil reset Honda Accord

1982-1985
After completing the oil change, the maintenance lamp may be reset by inserting the ignition key into the appropriate slot on the instrument panel below the indicator lamp. The indicator will change to green.
1986-1991
Insert ignition key into slot below indicator flag at lower right corner of instrument cluster.

1992-1996
Insert ignition key into centre slot located on the front of the instrument cluster. When reset, the indicator changes to green.
1997-1999
With Reset Button on Instrument Panel:
Turn the ignition off.
Press the select switch and reset switch at the same time, turn the ignition switch to run (one position before starting).
Hold them for at least 10 seconds, until the indicator resets.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
With Key Slot on Instrument Panel:
Reset the indicator by inserting the key in the slot and changing the indicator to green.
2000-2005
Turn off the engine.
Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button in the instrument panel. and turn the ignition switch ON (ii).
Hold the button for at least 10 seconds, until the indicator resets.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
2006-2010
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the SELECT/RESET knob until the engine oil life indicator is displayed.
Press the SELECT/RESET knob for more than 10 seconds. The engine oil life indicator and the maintenance code(s) will blink.
Press the SELECT/RESET knob for more than 5 seconds. The maintenance items code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1997-1998

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the RESET button for 5 seconds.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1999

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the SETUP control to access the System Check function. Press RESET to start the system check function.
Press and hold the RESET control when “OIL LIFE XX% HOLD RESET NEW” is displayed.
After a successful reset, the message centre will display “OIL LIFE RESET TO 100%”.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

2000-2003

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press the SETUP control to access the System Check function.
Press and release the RESET control to display OIL LIFE XX% HOLD RESET NEW.
Press and hold the RESET control for 2 seconds to display IF NEW OIL HOLD RESET.
Press and hold the RESET control to display OIL LIFE SET TO 100%. Your oil life is now reset.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
